Simina Dar سيمينة دار is a self-taught Egyptian style belly dancer from Western Arkansas with an intense interest in Egyptian culture and dance history. She is here to share her perspectives as a larger-bodied dancer and the challenges that come with that, and also as a purely improvisational dancer with only minimal formal training through dance workshops. And to also babble about nerdy anthropological things related to Raqs Sharqi.

Evryn Amar افرين امار is a student of the Aalim Bellydance Academy of Oklahoma City with a special interest in tribal fusion, who comes to the dance with the unique perspective of being a dancer with Cerebral Palsy. She is here to share her stories and perspectives involving the challenges of a dancer with certain disabilities, studio training, and troupe-style dancing.
